To make the hand shifter, start by pulling the gear shifter off. Cut the end off, reinstall 90 degrees to stock. Measure the length of the piece you willl need to add in order to comfortably reach it from the seat. Braze on the extension and use a cut glass doorknob for a shift knob.
To make the foot clutch, add a bracket off the front of the frame. Attach a pivoting arm on a roller bearing. Hook the shortened clutch cable onto this arm.
Watch your ass, this kind of engineering not only can but WILL bite you. Take your time, get used to it at low speeds in a low traffic area before you tackle the highway with it.
Good luck. I still say it would be safer to use HD parts from the Knuckle, early Pan, or flathead 45 inch motor era.
